Dori & Isasa is a t-shirt design that has not been released. We have a sneak preview here. Freak & Elegance might only release it on a whim in 2009.

The mass sees Dori & Isasa as Japanese-style illustration, but the t-shirt design is in fact more of European-style. These two styles are kind of close anyway. In the graphic, the use of bright red blended in little orange on the background, strongly contrast with the character Dori and Isasa holding on a balance point. It again reflects Freak & Elegance concept well.

This is one of the very first Freak & Elegance t-shirts. If you have already read about the page Angelic Devil & Devilish Angel, and The Story of Fecielo, you would have grasped the concept and soul of FE t-shirts. 7 Goldfish & Jasmine has so successfully reflected the theme.

The fusion of the 7 goldfish and a jasmine flower implies the fusion of western mystery and oriental gracefulness. These are the 2 opposite elements inside the t-shirt design. In most western countries the number “7″ is believed to be the number of mystery. This is also the reason why you see the mysterious number “7″ beside the world peace label at the back of all FE t-shirts. The use of real graphical jasmine as background not only gives sense of leisure but at the same time form the striking contrast in the color! It has simple design, intense tone.

Boxfresh is a British label which was launched in 1989. Though its clothing line was not a hit in the beginning stage it has been recognized since few years back in some countries where fashion prevails like Japan, Europe, Australia, and of course UK itself.

Boxfresh clothing is said to be the trail-blazer of UK Urbanwear. In the time where streetwear was as indispensable as oxygen, Boxfresh came out strong and moved to US to become one of the most recognized UK sportswear labels there. It returned to London after 3 consecutive years of success.

So what is the meaning behind the brand name?

DCMA Collective is a famous clothing company in US. It is shown here for our t-shirt lovers who are also skull case or skeleton lovers. I’m not going to list down all the t-shirts and the labels here which have anything to do with skull case. I will only bring up Zoo York used to be featured here in our 102 T-shirts Countdown as I think most street walkers love it much.

Vans Off The Wall skateboard culture spreads from the south of California throughout the whole country and then to worldwide skateboarders. It is a name which when asked even the 3-year-olds would answer you with “I totally love Vans!”

We are by all means in love with Vans t-shirts not only due to the strong background it has but the design itself as well. You have seen a lot of skateboarding t-shirt brand like the famous Alien Workshop, Diamond Supply Co. and DGK. There is always a lineage between the t-shirt designs and the skateboarding culture.
