Is a word “cool” enough to present Emily The Strange completely? NO way. Is she then more than cool? NO way. She is rather anti-cool. SO, who is Emily The Strange?
Emily The Strange is a subculture of one, and a follower of no one but herself. In the infamous Do it Yourself movement she is the well-known anti-hero whom everyone loves. No one is not familiar with her favorite “Get Lost!” tag line - It is an invitation to move your feet to the unfamiliar places as well as an instruction to “Take a hike!”.
She has the four black cats staying with her all the time. You are chilled when her black eyes staring at you from under her bangs, but you would certainly love her long black hair. You won’t see her dressed in other colors but all in black, except for her big white Mary Jane shoes. You probably could only catch a glimpse on the slingshot in her hand right before the rock hits you.
Emily The Strange is so sweet but killing right? I have not seen other online clothing stores as messy as Emily’s official website. Hey, I did not just mean not nice, but it meshes so well with the concept of being strange, or I would love using the word freak!
I bet my life that all the cool girls would die for Emily The Strange clothing as it is no conventional women clothing but..anti-cool. Haha. As a hunter, I surely prefer the cool t-shirts more than any other stuff. What about you?
By the way, I have just noticed that the last t-shirt is kind of similar to one of the Darkside women’s t-shirts where Darkside Clothing is a brand as rocking as Emily The Strange.
