What is the t-shirt brand that has double “C” hooked up, or I would rather say crooked up? The answer is yet another street wear Crooks and Castles. The trademark design of Crooks and Castles t-shirts feature New Medusa with Bandito stripe covering her face. Cici list all the hottest t-shirts out in the first 3 photos.

It is quite interesting to notice that Crooks and Castles the double “C” appear in my name Cici too. However Cici’s t-shirt label is Freak & Elegance ( there is a “&” too ). Besides, the t-shirts are as well tempting. Anyway, this is just a little coincidence or rather I’m crapping here

May be there is another coincidence which is about the background story. Crooks and Castles has a meaningful storyline behind the label just like we have got our own Freak and Elegance story. Before going into the story, let’s have a short English lesson here. Crook doesn’t only mean hook but it also carries the meaning of a dishonest person, esp. a sharper, swindler, or thief. Castles here would be carrying the figurative of the rich.

Crooks and Castles folks claim that those growing up in Los Angeles in 80’s or 90’s have surely seen gangs where everywhere and crime rates was growing up in no bound. Living in that type of villainous style, some crooks were somehow able to find a way out and use whatever they’ve learned from the street to turn into fortune. Thus, “Crooks” means criminals or thieves while “Castles” means those who got rich by being a crooks.

They will certainly keep producing hot t-shirts so that they will become the next rich crook! I like the concept behind as much as I like Crooks and Castles t-shirts. Cici want to have all those 3 New Medusa and bandito Stripe t-shirts now!
